Maria Conticelli Manager of Operations
In her role, Maria directs day-to-day operations, creates and implements strategies, policies, and practices, and ensures alignment with the mission of Operation Pathways. Maria provides leadership for finance and human resource functions, including recruiting, evaluating and hiring of site-based staff. As a member of the leadership team, Maria contributes to strategic program development and the implementation of strategic priorities.
Maria has over 13 years of experience working in a variety of fields within the non-profit world – education, child advocacy, association management, and affordable housing. Maria brings a proven record of accomplishment in the areas of program management, finance, advocacy, human resources, volunteer training, and strategic partnerships. Maria currently serves as the president of the board of directors for Capitol Hill Arts Workshop (CHAW) in Washington, D.C. Before joining Operation Pathways, Maria served as the Director of Sections, Divisions, and Administration at the Federal Bar Association in Arlington, Virginia. Prior to this, Maria was the Director of Recruitment and Training at Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Cook County in Chicago, Illinois. Maria brings a unique perspective and appreciation to non-profit work, as well as a desire to positively impact and engage her community.
