Carla Reid RSC, St. Luke's Plaza, Saint Louis, Missouri
Carla Reid is the resident services coordinator for St. Luke’s Plaza in Saint Louis, Missouri. Carla graduated from the University of Missouri—St. Louis with a degree in Social Work and has over 19 years of experience working in the field. She has worked in various capacities, starting her career as a case manager for the State of Missouri to her most recent endeavor as a project coordinator for United Way of Greater St. Louis. Through her work experience, she has a wealth of knowledge and experience working with low income families in underserved communities.
Carla has personal experience in entrepreneurship as she owned her own business from 2011–2017 and is certified in financial capability. She believes that anyone can attain the financial goals they set for themselves whether it be better budgeting, an excellent credit score or homeownership, and her job is to support them in that journey. Carla currently serves on the board of directors for Habitat for Humanity- St. Louis as well as for her neighborhood association. She is passionate about building community and has been recognized by local and state officials for her efforts.
