In her previous role as a resident services coordinator in Chicago housing programs, she worked collaboratively with families to identify their strengths and provide support to them as they strived to accomplish their goals. In her free time, Carmen enjoys traveling, taking online trainings, and hosting workshops on dementia and dementia-related illnesses.
